St. Petersburg Medical Tourism Agency JSC
Joint-Stock Company "Saint-Petersburg Agency for Medical Tourism", whose sole founder is the Government of Saint-Petersburg, performs the role of the state management structure, providing organization of medical services to foreign and domestic medical and health tourists in sanatoriums and resorts, as well as in medical organizations of state, municipal and private health care systems.
In order to develop and promote St. Petersburg and Russian Federation as a promising direction for medical and health tourism Agency provides methodological support to specialized market participants, organizes and conducts conferences, forums, workshops, press tours, as well as information campaign among foreign partners from CIS countries, SCO, BRICS and ASEAN.
The main objectives of the Agency are:
- increasing the attractiveness of St. Petersburg as a center of medical tourism
- development of medical tourism in St. Petersburg, aimed at attracting both internal and external traffic
- improvement of patient care processes, including optimization of the routing model
- improving the provision of medical services
- interaction with the medical community
- promotion of congress and exhibition activities
- organization of trainee programs in Russia and foreign countries
- involvement and promotion of innovative technologies and modern treatment methods
