Multifunctional roofs

12.00 - 17.00 Training day MULTIFUNCTIONAL ROOFS

Topics covered: multifunctional roofs, overview of roof surface applications, water purification systems and bio-solar systems, solar panels and surface installations on flat roofs, options and solutions - examples from Estonia and Europe

12:00 - 14:00
Duration: 120 min
  • "Multifunctional Roofs" or "Roof Uses" - an overview of roof surface uses and trends,
  • Nophadrain develops and manufactures communal roofing systems that allow the installation of green and paved areas on roofs for pedestrian and vehicular traffic.
  • Nophadrain's roofing systems enable water buffering features and the combination of landscaping with solar panels. Part of the presentation will deal with "water buffer systems" and "bio-solar systems".
  • In conclusion, we will discuss how multifunctional roofs can be combined with architectural challenges.
