Job Description:
- Teaching of roofing and essential sheet-metal work to students in secondary vocational education or training.
- Supervision of students in practical training at school.
- Participating in the development of the school and the profession.
- Preparing pupils for vocational competitions.
- Preparing students for the level 4 vocational examinations for slope roofers.
Job Requirements:
- Professional experience in the field taught.
- Professional qualification.
- Higher education or training in a professional or teaching discipline.
- Compliance with, or willingness to acquire, the requirements described in the Vocational Standards for Vocational Teachers.
- Ability to analyse pupils' development needs and to work with teachers and support professionals.
- Good initiative, teamwork skills and empathy.
