Through us, you can get a job as a substitute for a care worker in health centre departments. You can choose the replacement that suits you, based on its duration and the job.

The main tasks of a care worker are to guide, advise, motivate, assist and support patients, participate in the planning and implementation of care, assess care needs and monitor the effectiveness of care. In addition, the tasks of a care worker include diagnosing and monitoring patients, managing rapidly changing situations, carrying out medical procedures and examinations, and making referrals for home treatment.

In the case of escort services and palliative care, the duty nurse is responsible for ensuring the quality of the service.

• Qualification as a nurse midwife and professional registration with the Valvira
• Good oral and written Finnish language skills
• Driving licence category B for home care work
• Licences for medical services (LOVe, LOP & PKV)
• Vaccination cover in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act (§ 48)

Different lengths of placements offer a great opportunity to develop your skills in a variety of ways and to work in a way that suits your life situation.

The duration of the placement (usually between 1 and 6 months) and the number of hours worked will be flexibly agreed according to your availability. Replacements through MediPower offer salaries between €15 and €18 per hour, depending on location. On top of this, you will receive bonuses according to the union contract and 9% holiday pay.
