As a Green Spaces Maintenance Specialist, you'll be a key player in designing, developing, and maintaining vibrant outdoor environments that enhance both community spaces and natural areas. From maintaining city parks and public green spaces to transforming private landscapes, this role offers variety, creativity, and hands-on work in nature. If you are passionate about working outdoors, have an eye for detail, and love working with plants and landscapes, we would love to hear from you! - Planting & Maintenance: Planting trees, shrubs, flowers, and other greenery, and providing ongoing care, pruning, and weeding to ensure they thrive - Landscape Development: Assisting in the construction of walkways, borders, flower beds, and other landscape elements to bring design plans to life. - Hedge and Lawn Care: Mowing lawns, trimming hedges, and maintaining overall greenery to high aesthetic and health standards - Environmental Stewardship: Applying eco-friendly practices in landscaping and waste disposal, promoting biodiversity and sustainability - Equipment Operation: Using and maintaining a variety of gardening tools and machinery, from mowers to trimmers and small loaders. - Irrigation Management: Installing and maintaining irrigation systems, ensuring appropriate water distribution for all green spaces - Seasonal Adjustments: Preparing and maintaining green areas for seasonal changes, including planting schedules and winter preparations.
