The Material Handling System Manager is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of the DRI Material Handling Systems (MHS). This includes overseeing budgeting and inventory management, as well as leading the MHS engineering team to ensure the provision of cost-effective, proactive operation, maintenance, and engineering services that meet production requirements and corporate objectives. Responsibilities: - Build and lead a skilled, diverse team while fostering a strong safety culture and adherence to ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards. - Oversee and maintain critical equipment, including Bucket Wheel Stackers, Reclaimers, Conveyors, and Dust Collection Systems, ensuring reliability and minimal downtime. - Propose and implement technical upgrades to improve plant operations and reduce costs. - Manage department budgets and implement cost-effective maintenance and inventory practices. - Drive reliability-focused maintenance improvements, safety audits, and innovation to meet evolving operational needs. - Drive reliability-focused maintenance improvements, safety audits, and innovation.
