- Want to find a job?
- Job shadow
Job shadowing gives you the chance to get to know a job you are interested in by meeting the person who works in it. As a trainee, you will get to experience what a working day is like and the tasks that need to be done in that job. You will understand the knowledge, skills and personal qualities needed to work in the job. In addition, you will see and experience a real working environment and make new acquaintances with people in your field, and see how what you learn in school relates to the world of work.
If you're looking for a job shadowing opportunity, you can check out all the employers who would be willing to offer you one at the Job and Career Fair from 19th April. To do this:
- Check out all the employers who are willing to take on a placement in the placement section.
- Find an institution that suits you, contact them and find out how, who and when you could be placed.
The Back to School Spring Job Shadowing Week, organised by Back to School, will also take place from 18th to 22nd of April and will display placement offers. You can view the offers and find the right one for you here:
