It's hard to imagine New Year's holidays without gingerbread cookies: in the Baltics, this delicacy takes first place in the Christmas period. The easiest way is to just buy it in the store, but there are people who like to bake fancy figurines on their own, and many manage to make whole gingerbread houses! In Estonia, there is even a society called PiparkoogiMaania ("Gingerbread Fans") which on the occasion of their 15th anniversary, is holding an exhibition, the theme of which is "Fashion" and all sorts of fashion trends baked by famous Estonian designers. The exhibition is open until January 7, 2021 at the Tallinn Design and Architecture Gallery daily from 11:00 to 18:00.
