Jaanus Tamm

Jaanus Tamm has over 20 years of experience in the technology and defense industry, with a proven track record as a co-founder and investor in multiple companies within these sectors.

As the founder and CEO of DefSecIntel Solutions, established in 2018, Jaanus leads one of Estonia’s top defense industry firms. The company develops and manufactures AI-enhanced mobile autonomous surveillance systems and counter-drone technologies, designed to safeguard borders, critical infrastructure, and defense operations.

Beyond his entrepreneurial ventures, Jaanus is a committed mentor and an active leader in the industry. He serves as a board member of the Estonian Defense and Aerospace Industry Association, a council member of the Estonian Defense Industry Cluster, and is a co-founder of the Estonian Founders Society (Startup Leaders Club).

In recognition of his achievements, Jaanus was named EY Entrepreneur of the Year in 2024 and has been honored with the Ministry of Defence Gold Badge and the Police and Border Guard Order of Merit.
