Why study in Hiiumaa?
"School session week is the week to look forward to every month," says Markko Riitsalu, a graduate of the speciality of small-craft harbour specialist. You come across the sea, you dedicate yourself to learning and you're with other like-motivated fellow students. There will also be time to explore Hiiumaa's nature and sights.
- three to five days per month (plus e-learning, workplace-based learning and independent work)
- learning is (still) free of charge and there is no age limit
- education- and transport-related allowances
- taught by masters in their field
- the opportunity to apply for an Erasmus mobility
- comfortable and affordable boarding facilities
- a place of inspiration in a historic learning environment
In addition to our specialities, we offer a range of complementary training, both free and paid. During the winter period, we offer evening gardening lectures to a wide audience.
