Keynote Speakers

We are delighted to announce our first keynote speaker, Professor Anu Hopia, PhD, with the keynote Science and Gastronomy: Concept and Applications. 
Professor Anu Hopia is a Finnish food scientist and Professor of Food Development at the University of Turku, where she also serves as Vice Director of the Nutrition and Food Research Center. She holds a Ph.D. and docentship in food chemistry from the University of Helsinki. Her work combines food science, health, and gastronomy, with a special focus on science and gastronomy as a framework for linking scientific knowledge with culinary practice, education, and sustainable food innovation. Her research addresses multisensory food perception, food-related emotions, and eating experiences that promote health and sustainable dietary change.
