How Many Kinds of Affect Theory?

It is well-known that affect theory is multiple. But how multiple is it? This seminar will begin with a lecture providing a new way of dividing affect theory into a typology of six different conceptual strands. In the discussion that follows, participants will consider whether "affect theory" is actually a unified field in the first place and explore the utility of different paradigms for different contexts.
