- MIRJAM HINN
Mirjam Hinn is an Estonian abstract artist based in Tartu. She has participated in numerous group and international exhibitions since 2011, including in Finland, Lithuania, Italy, and Germany, as well as major exhibitions such as NordArt, Arte Laguna, and Combat Prize.
Her work explores the visualisation of sensory and emotional experience, drawing on themes such as synaesthesia and the blending of perception. Through her practice, she investigates how phenomena such as sound, light, and inner states can be translated into abstract visual form.
She is the author of the artwork Light Blends with Shadows / Valgus seguneb varjudega (2025), selected for the Tartu Courthouse and featured in the visual identity of this conference. Mirjam Hinn will open the second day of the conference by introducing the work and reflecting on its creation process.
