Kadi Palumaa, MD, FEBO

Graduated University of Tartu in 1990. Works at Tallinn Central Hospital Eye Clinic, since 2006 as a consultant. The main areas of interest are pediatric ophthalmology and strabismus, lacrimal surgery and cataract. She has improved her skills of pediatric ophthalmology in Basel, Zürich and Antwerpen Eye clinics.

Her interest for lacrimal surgery began in 2006, since when she has visited several times Münster Eye Clinic in Germany and Zürich Eye Clinic in Switzerland, in order to learn different surgical techniques.

She is an Estonian representative and examiner in EBO since 2013. Board member of Estonian Society of Ophthalmology since 2018. Since 2024 President of Estonian Society of Ophthalmology and President – elect of International Society of Dacryology and Dry Eye (ISD-DE). Full member of EPOS (European Pediatric Ophthalmology Society) and ISD-DE.
