• Former Chairman, Department of Ophthalmology and USTH Eye Institute
• Chief, Lacrimal, Orbital and Oculofacial Plastic Surgery Section UST Hospital Eye Institute University of Santo Tomas Hospital, University of Santo Tomas España, Sampaloc, Manila, Philippines .
• Former President of the Philippines Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery,  
• Founding President, Asia-Pacific Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.  
• Member of the Executive Council Committee for the World Society of Ophthalmic 
• Plastic Reconstructive & Aesthetic Surgery (WSOPRS). 
• International Fellow, American Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. 

To date, he has given three hundred eighty-two (382) lectures worldwide, both local and international .

He is a Scientific Reviewer of various internationally peer-reviewed journals. 

He is honored as one of the Doyens of Dacryology.
