Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences
Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences (formerly Tallinn Health Care College) is an internationally recognized state professional higher education institution providing training in the fields of health and well-being. The new English name supports the university’s international, scientific, and strategic goals more effectively.
The university is in continuous development and actively engaged in national and international networks. In cooperation with educators, healthcare practitioners, researchers and learners, we address important challenges in health and well-being through education, thorough research and innovative development projects. Our mission is to educate innovative and critically thinking health professionals equipped with strong technological competencies.
The international interdisciplinary science conference has been a tradition at Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences since 2020. The first conference, titled "Public Health & Healthcare in the Move – Opportunities and Challenges in Research, Practice and Policy," brought together nearly 300 participants, including researchers from France, Latvia, Lithuania, Germany, England, Finland, Sweden, Italy, Albania, India, and Belgium.
The conference continued the tradition of international academic collaboration established at Tallinn Health University of Applied Sciences and since 2022, has been organized in partnership with the Estonian Academy Publishers.
