Prof./Dr. Rui-Tao Wen

Dr. Rui-Tao Wen is currently an associate professor in Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). He earned PhD degree from Ångströmlaboratoriet at Uppsala University, Sweden and carried out postdoc work at Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in U.S. before joining in SUSTech.

His research interests include electrochromic materials and devices, and dynamic radiative cooling. Dr. Wen has published papers on Nature Materials, Nature Commun. Matter, Adv. Mater., Natl. Sci. Rev., Adv. Funct. Mater., and Appl. Phys. Lett., etc., and his research have been highlighted by MIT News, Science Daily and Phys.org.

He is also a recipient of several awards, including Torsten Thuréns Prize, Start MIT Award and National Young Talent of China.
