Prof. Marina Tyunina

Degrees: MSc (physics), PhD (condensed matter physics), DTech (electronics) Work experience in microelectronics industry, industrial research and development, and academic research and teaching. Affiliated with University of Oulu (since 2000) and Institute of Physics (since 2012, present: Head of Laboratory of Thin-Film Materials).  

Recent main research has been in fundamental physics and technology of thin films of perovskite oxides including ferroelectrics. 

Most cited publications deal with strain-induced effects in epitaxial films of paraelectrics and lead-based relaxors.
