Prof. Halyna Klym
Halyna Klym, D.Sc. in Engineering, Professor at the Department of Specialized Computer Systems, Lviv Polytechnic National University, earned her PhD in Physics and Mathematics (2008) and Doctor of Engineering Sciences degree in Solid State Physics (2016). She has held academic positions from Assistant and Associate Professor to full Professor (since 2018), combining extensive teaching and research experience.
Her research focuses on functional materials science, including nanostructured oxide ceramics, glass-ceramics, radiation-induced effects in disordered systems, sensor materials, and the development of intelligent information-measuring microprocessor systems for environmental and defense applications.
Professor Klym is the author and co-author of over 500 scientific and educational publications, including 228 indexed in Scopus (h-index 33, Scopus). She is a recipient of the Prize of the President of Ukraine for Young Scientists, awards of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, and multiple national research grants. She serves as Editor-in-Chief of Advances in Cyber-Physical Systems, chairs scientific councils, and has led numerous international research projects supported by STCU, CRDF, and the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
