Tõnu Mertsina

Tõnu has been working as Swedbank ’s Chief Economist in Estonia since 2013. He and his team cover both Estonian and international economic issues, while alongside other macroeconomic analysis, an economic forecast is published regularly. Tõnu has experience in public and private sectors – including the Bank of Estonia, the pharmaceutical company Merck Sharp & Dohme (MSD) and Statistics Estonia. In addition to his main work, Tõnu teaches macroeconomic topics as a visiting lecturer at various universities in Estonia.
