Every time I read those glowing speaker bios at conferences, I can’t help but grin. Apparently, we’re all visionaries, trailblazers, influencers, superheroes, and part-time demigods.
So, for those who don’t know me, here’s the reality: I’m just a service person, and I happen to lead, together with so many great teammates, an Estonian-based multinational company, Legendhotels. I work across five countries and currently support ten hotel General Managers and their teams in Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, and Slovenia. I recently wrapped up my term on Marriott’s Franchisee Advisory Council, where the brightest operators within Marriott and their European headquarters leaders share thoughts on how to become better.
At the same time, I help our company create new hotel products and services for properties still in pre-opening — the same ones I’ll eventually be serving again once they go live…
