Erkki Keldo
Erkki Keldo is an experienced politician, young ambitious and forward-thinking leader, currently serving as the Minister of Economy and Industry. As a Minister, Erkki is dedicated to
fostering entrepreneurship, export growth, and economic innovation. He believes that the clean and green industry, R&D and innovative technology solutions are fundamental to
Estonia’s future economic success.
As a Minister of Economy and Industry, he is responsible for the following areas: economy and innovation, employment and labor market policy, planning and land policy. In his capacity as the Minister, Erkki Keldo is currently a Member of the Supervisory Board of the Unemployment Insurance Fund, a Member of the Advisory Board of Applied Research
Centre, and a Member of the Economic Cabinet of the Government.
Additionally, he is also responsible for setting owner’s expectations for the state-owned Business and Innovation Agency. The Agency‘s main goals include increasing Estonia’s
international competitiveness, boosting innovation, increasing export capacity, attracting high value-added foreign investments and recruiting top international professionals.
