Olena Bondar
Olena Bondar is a Ukrainian expert in organisational resilience, leadership under pressure, and human capital analytics in conditions of prolonged crisis. As CEO of Wellbeing Company, she works at the intersection of business performance and mental health, helping organisations sustain functionality, decision-making capacity, and team cohesion during extreme disruption.
Her work is grounded in hands-on experience with over 100 companies operating under conditions of war, blackouts, forced relocation, and sustained uncertainty. Across sectors — including critical infrastructure, energy, heavy industry, pharmaceuticals, and IT — Olena has analysed and systematised more than 10 in-depth case studies of organisations that have maintained operational continuity and team effectiveness during one of the most challenging periods in Ukraine’s modern history.
These insights are translated into practical, measurable frameworks for leaders and HR, including the Business Emergency Kit — a structured approach to maintaining team functionality and leadership capacity under prolonged pressure.
Olena is a regular contributor to Forbes Ukraine, where she writes on leadership, human capital, and organisational resilience. Her work focuses on how prolonged stress impacts decision-making, leadership behaviour, and business outcomes — and what companies can do about it.
In 2025, Olena delivered a keynote at the Global EAP Summit Istanbul 2025, where she introduced the Business Emergency Kit framework to an international audience. In parallel, she has conducted a series of workshops on team resilience under conditions of war and polycrisis for European business associations — including sessions in Poland, Estonia, and Switzerland — translating Ukrainian experience into applied tools for international organisations.
Currently, Olena is delivering engagements across the EU, focusing on how companies can preserve human capital, maintain decision quality, and sustain team performance in environments shaped by prolonged crisis.
Her perspective bridges Ukrainian frontline business experience with broader European organisational challenges — offering practical insights into how EAP evolves from a support function into a core business resilience mechanism.
