- Helene Gorny
Helene Gorny is a senior policy analyst working at the Austrian Institute for Regional Studies (ÖIR GmbH), specialising in territorial analysis and monitoring and evaluation of European Cohesion Policy funds. She focuses on European regional and rural development, as well as European territorial cooperation, in her projects. She has led and contributed to numerous studies, evaluations and impact assessments for ESPON, the European Parliament, the European Commission, the Committee of the Regions and the European Investment Bank. Helene is presently the lead coordinator of the ESPON TNCOOP project. The project aims to bring a comprehensive overview on the cooperation needs and opportunities, supported by robust territorial evidence and analyses, to feed the programming process and to set the strategic objectives and priorities for transnational cooperation in the post-2027 period.
