Gustav Lindström

Gustav Lindström is the Director General of the Secretariat of the Council of the Baltic Sea States. From 2018 – 2023, he was the Director of the EU Institute for Security Studies (EUISS) - the European Union’s agency analysing foreign, security and defence policy issues. He has previously served with the Geneva Centre for Security Policy (GCSP), the RAND Corporation, and the World Bank. Mr Lindstrom holds a doctorate in policy analysis from the RAND Graduate School and a master’s degree in international policy studies from Stanford University.
