Details and guidelines for ENLIGHT T&L Conference presenters

We are delighted to welcome you to the upcoming ENLIGHT T&L Conference 2025 at the Upsala University. As the event approaches, we would like to share some essential information and instructions to ensure a smooth and successful experience for everyone involved.

Important to know:
To enhance networking opportunities, please take a moment to update your job title and include your discipline in your profile—this will help facilitate meaningful connections during the conference.

Please note that parts of the conference will be recorded, including the opening ceremony, the keynote speeches and the Teaching & Learning Award ceremony.

Instructions for presenters:
All presenters are required to upload their presentations to the OnlineExpo platform by 25 September.
To log in, go to the Attendee Area and enter the credentials provided in your registration confirmation email.

Presentations can be in PowerPoint or PDF format. If your presentation is interactive (e.g., Canva, Adobe Spark, Prezi, etc.), please upload a PDF (as this is a required field) and include a link to the interactive presentation.

Posters will be printed for the poster sessions but digital versions should also be uploaded for access through the conference programme. Poster should use the A1 format, landscape or portrait are both ok. Posters can be submitted in PDF format.

Timing for sessions:

  • Presentations: You’ll have 10 minutes for the presentation, followed by 20 minutes for questions. The total time for each presentation, including speaker transitions, is 30 minutes.
  • Poster presentations: The poster session will take place in a more social venue. Presenters will stay by their printed poster for short pitch presentations and Q&A for the duration of the session while participants explore the poster area.
  • Workshops: These will last either 45, 60 or 75 minutes, focusing on interaction and teamwork. The facilitator will encourage participants to collaborate and share their experiences. Start with a brief introduction, but ensure that most of the time is dedicated to interactive activities. The room is equipped with movable tables, flipcharts, markers, and paper.
  • Idea development sessions: Each participant will provide a brief, informal presentation (also possible to make a mini poster about your main idea) at your table, followed by a discussion. De discussion will be moderated. Each roundtable session lasts 45 minutes (5 minutes for presenting and 40 minutes for discussion). These sessons are intentionally low tech and no digital tools are available in the rooms.

Getting ready:

Please arrive at your session at least 5 minutes early. Check in with the session chairs and sit near the front to ensure smooth transitions between speakers. During a break before your session, please check that your slides and videos work properly with the conference’s projection system. If you encounter any issues, our on-site technician will be available to assist. Rooms for presentations and workshops are equipped with an overhead projector, PC and speakers. If you prefer to use your laptop for your presentation, please ensure it has an HDMI port (or mini-HDMI, USB-C, DisplayPort (mini or micro), or VGA-analogue port) for output. Rooms for Idea development sessions have no technical support.
