Liisa-Ly Pakosta

Liisa-Ly Pakosta has served as Minister of Justice and Digital Affairs since July 2024. Prior to this role, she chaired the European Union Affairs Committee of the Riigikogu and is a member of the political party Eesti 200.

She brings extensive international experience and leadership expertise from both the public and private sectors. Pakosta has served two terms as a Member of the Riigikogu (2009–2015 and 2023–2024), was the Gender Equality and Equal Treatment Commissioner (2015–2022), Deputy Mayor of Tallinn and Director General of the National Heritage Board.

As minister, she focuses on integrating digital solutions with the justice system to improve access to justice and enhance the efficiency of public services. Her priorities also include international cooperation, security and the promotion of equal treatment.
