Henrik Trasberg

Henrik is a Legal and Policy Officer in the field of Artificial Intelligence at the European Commission (DG Connect). He has previously worked as a legal advisor on new technologies at the Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs of Estonia, participating in the negotiations of many key regulations for the European Union's data economy (AI Act, Digital Markets Act, Data Act and several others). Henrik has also represented the Ministry of Justice in the development of Estonia's trustworthy AI and data strategy, action plans and support tools. Furthermore, Henrik has been lecturer on Intellectual Property Law at the University of Tartu and as an IT/IP lawyer at the Hedman Partners law firm.
